Overview
Certificate of Conformity (CoC) under Scheme-IV of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018 granted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for goods manufactured in accordance with the relevant Indian Standards.
Under BIS Act, 2016, BIS is authorized to grant CoC to that manufacturer for such goods and articles, which conform to the relevant Indian Standard or essential requirements and the grant of such CoC is subject to the manufacturer complying with the norms laid down by BIS from time to time. Each product or the package, as the case may be, shall be marked with CoC number.

- Identification of manufacturing units in accordance with Indian Standards
- Preparation and submission of documents
- Submission of Conforming Test report of the product sample manufactured
- Factory visit by BIS officials
- Grant of CoC
